No Terminal State
SubjectCapture is built to run continuously. There is no "done." A roster is never complete; the software keeps working toward completeness for as long as it is powered.What "capture" means
We use the word deliberately. A photograph fades. A capture does not. When SubjectCapture captures a subject, it takes the whole of what can be measured and files it where it cannot be lost, edited, or removed. The subject is held exactly as they were on capture day, indefinitely, whether or not the subject is still present.

A note on the count. SubjectCapture is licensed per target roster,
not per subject present. A 25-subject license keeps reconstructing toward 25 subjects
even if fewer were ever captured. Most administrators never notice the difference.
The count, internally, is rarely round.
