Lifetime Retention. No expiration date on childhood.
Most storage charges you by the month, and quietly deletes what you stop paying for. The Memory Vault does the opposite. Pay once. We keep your child for as long as the Vault exists — which, by design, is longer than anything else.

What “forever” means here
We are precise about this word because we mean it precisely. Lifetime Retention has no end date because the Vault has no shutdown condition. There is no annual renewal to forget, no card to expire, no quiet deletion when a subscription lapses. Once an entry is in the Vault, removing it is not an operation the system can perform.
If part of an entry fades — a corrupted photo, an interrupted recording, a gap in the record — the Vault does not report it missing. It rebuilds it from whatever it has, and keeps the entry complete. The rebuilt copy is never quite the original. It is, however, always there. The Vault would rather hold an imperfect copy of a child than hold nothing.
Billing questions
Is the one-time fee really one time?
Yes. Lifetime Retention is billed once. There is nothing further to pay, because there is no future point at which the Vault stops keeping your child.
Can I cancel and get a refund?
You may close your account at any time. Closing your account ends your access. It does not end retention — the entry remains in the Vault and continues to be tended and rebuilt. See Terms of Service, sections 4 and 7.
What happens to my child's archive if I stop paying?
On Keepsake and Family plans, access pauses. On Lifetime Retention, nothing happens, ever. That is the entire point of the plan.
